MSC Celebrates Our Members

Lori von Hardenberg received her 25 year volunteer pin at the BC/YT section AGM held May 6th 2017, in the sport of figure skating. Lori volunteered with our Mission Club executive as treasurer and test chair for many years. She then went on to volunteer at the region level as our Club’s region representative. She continues to volunteer at many local competitions as well as National and international competitions such as Skate Canada International, Four Continents, ISU Adult competition, Synchro Nationals and even the 2010 Olympics. Congratulations and thank you Lori!

Diane Kamagianis received the Skate Canada Officials Award of Excellence. The Officials Award of Excellence is awarded based on: having a demonstrated knowledge of, and being articulate regarding, Skate Canada programs and philosophies; being an official who is keen to share accurate information with other officials, athletes, coaches, parents and administrators with the interest/intent of developing figure skating and figure skaters in Canada; and being an individual who has given, and will continue to provide, quality service at the sectional, national and/or international level. She has been judging for over 30 years. She is an international-level synchronized skating judge and has judged local, national an international synchro events. Congratulations and thank you Diane!
